"Very poor and frustrating experience at this DBS branch. The staff seems more interested in rejecting requests than actually helping customers. Every visit comes with a new excuse instead of a solution. My account was frozen due to KYC. When I visited the branch, they spent time asking intrusive and unnecessary questions about my job, income, and work profile. After that, they refused to complete KYC saying my Aadhaar address was not updated — even though this exact Aadhaar was used when the account was opened. I updated my Aadhaar address, which took nearly a month. When I went back, instead of resolving the issue, they came up with yet another reason — now claiming my Aadhaar photo is “too old” and therefore unacceptable. This is nothing but harassment and deliberate delay. There is no clear guideline, no accountability, and no intent to help. Expect endless back-and-forth and wasted time. Completely unacceptable service from a private bank."

"It feels like the staff does not want to help and keeps giving excuses, similar to what happens in some government banks. My account was frozen due to KYC issues, so I visited the branch. They asked unnecessary personal questions like what I do, how much I earn, and my role in my profession. After that, they said they couldn’t complete my KYC because my local address was not updated on Aadhaar — even though the same Aadhaar was used to open the account in the first place. I went back and updated my Aadhaar address, which took almost a month. When I returned to the branch, they gave another excuse saying my Aadhaar photo is too old and cannot be accepted. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Do they expect customers to keep updating their Aadhaar photo every few years just to keep their bank account active? Totally disappointing experience."

"This bank is pathetic. They blocked my account and freeze my money for small amount of transactions. Now, they want unrelevant documents to activate my account. This bank never shared the cheque, so I have only one option to withdraw my amount through ATM and after this they are asking why so much transaction is done. Useless bank, I never suggest this bank to anyone."
